Ministry of Sound London (commonly referred to as just Ministry of Sound), is a nightclub, based in London, United Kingdom and an associated record label.

Ministry was ranked sixth in the 2009 DJ Magazine top 100 clubs poll 2009. As well as the nightclub in London, there is another in Egypt. The Ministry of Sound brand also includes various other products such as dance music compilations and clothing. Ministry of Sound is owned by MSHK Group Limited, which has offices in London, Sydney, Berlin and New York.

The Chairman of MSHK Group is James Palumbo who is also the majority shareholder; a small minority share-holding having been sold to private equity house 3i in 2001. The Chief Executive Officer of MSHK Group is Lohan Presencer. MSHK Group has global sales of £80 million and employs up to 500 personnel worldwide. Its mission statement is: “to create the moments that people live for”. The company also owns the Hed Kandi, Euphoria, and Hard2Beat brands.

When Carole King and James Taylor shared the stage of the Troubadour club in 1970 little did they know that this will be the performance to shoot them both to stardom. The next year King released her album Tapestry which is one of the best-selling albums ever, winning her four Grammy Awards that year and making her the first woman to win so many Grammys in a single year.  

After forty years King and Taylor will get together again for their Troubadour Reunion tour. The tour will start with a show in Melbourne on March 27 and will continue with a series of shows in New Zealand and Japan. In May they will return for the US leg of the tour which will end in July.

The US leg of the Troubadour Reunion tour will include stops at Seattle’s Key Arena, San Jose’s HP Pavilion, LA’s Hollywood bowl, the Jobing.com Arena in Phoenix, the Sommet Center in Nashville, Chicago’s Allstate Arena, The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Air Canada Centre in Toronto, as well as other venues in Columbus, Atlanta, Tampa, Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and others.
