Michael Jackson has a new movie. Yes. You read it right. Michael Jackson will be launching his new movie this 30th of October 2009. The movie is all about the latest footage of the practices that Michael Jackson attended with during the rehearsals for his “This Is It” concert. MJ died a tragic and unexpected death a few months ago. His death has put people into a shock because the legendary King of Pop is already gone—too soon.

Because of the love that so many fans all around the globe have for Michael Jackson, his movie will surely hit the theatre. Rumors of Sony spending about $60 million for the rights of the last video rehearsal of Michael Jackson have been circulating the Internet and the newspapers as well. This information adds up to the excitement and controversy that surrounds the life of MJ in general. Now, the question is whether or not the movie will be shown continuously in theatres or just like Michael Jackson, it will simply air in a couple of weeks and the mystery will leave the fans hanging.
Well, in reality, this so-called movie is not really a movie per se. It is not the same as with the movie being produced in Hollywood where there is a storyline, plot, characters, conflict and resolution. This is just a behind-the-scenes compilation of the preparation of the “This Is It” concert where MJ was last seen alive. Nevertheless, regardless of whether or not this movie will look like the one produced by Steven Spielberg or not, this will surely make millions: collector’s item indeed. Fans should expect as well a limited airing time for the movie in preparation for DVDs or VCD or whatever can be added to MJ’s fans’ collections. Let us all wait in great excitement.
